Barel Feta

Barrel feta is produced from sheep and goat milk, following the same feta PDO production process. The wooden barrel starts to have effect on the taste of product, after the stage of surface salting for maturation in brine at least, by law, 2 months

In the barrel feta the cheese interacts with the wood and becomes harder and more spicy.
